android webview - set referer (for version < 2.2 aka Froyo) -

i have mobile web site , mobile app android can load web site in webview. i'd set http 'referer' request header android app track android app users do.

i there way set http request headers before calling loadurl() in webview ?

edit:

it turns out in froyo (2.2) there way loadurl() command has new parameter specify headers webview/loadurl. comments can't override common headers, i've tested 'referer' , works fine.

so - still need pre froyo solution - ideas ?

it not possible pre froyo. after froyo can use extraheaders parameter in loadurl pass http headers.
