iphone - iOS framework to get audio in from dock connector -

how go abouts playing 'audio in' through dock connector in ios app? i'm making app myself , have no plans of putting apple store. have 30pin breakout board, , on there pins l/r audio in, can not find info on how use them?

as far i'm aware, officially supported option accessory using dock connector use external accessory framework, requires enrollment in made ipod program (overkill purposes). however, iphone , ipod both support line-in via headphone jack, , there plenty of apps make use of audio input. @ least provides possibilities.
