c++ - Identifying installed updates in win vista and win 7? -

in winxp, reading registry entries @ location software\microsoft\windows nt\currentversion\hotfix give me list of installed updates windows system.

i guessing practise has been discountinued since windows 7 (may vista too). how generate list of installed updates? have changed name of resgistry location? or have introduced new method identify this?
