windows - Dimming Secondary Monitors -

does know programmatic way of dimming secondary monitors while keeping primary display screen bright? have investigated existing software, dim monitors (or primary one). feel might windows registry modification perhaps. (this windows 7 platform) if point me towards registry entries can modified screen brightness levels. think handled in os , not in monitor itself.
